How does the Tankard relate to the Mimic Chest?
The Tankard is made of ten vaults (7 dice and 3 pen), and they are the same as the five vaults found on the top of the Mimic Chest. If you get both a Tankard and a Mimic Chest, the vaults are interchangeable. The Tankard does not include a dice tower or tray.
Dice Vaults sold on their own will not have magnets on the sides or bottom, and will not stick in to a Mimic Chest or Tankard, even though they are the same size.

How does shipping work if I pledge for multiple items?
You can pledge for the amount of one item plus its shipping, and add the amount for another item, under Manage Your Pledge. Our post-Kickstarter survey will handle the calculations for shipping and for add-ons, and let you know what the final price will be.

How big is the Mimic Chest inside when it's assembled?
Internal dimensions when the chest is assembled are 5-3/4” x 7-1/2” x 4”.

Can you do anything about customs and fees for international backers?
We will be shipping to a distributor in Germany, who will then ship your reward to you. This means it will take a few extra days for your package to arrive, but it should cut down on the extra fees you’d otherwise have to pay.
We can ship to other countries that aren’t listed - message us and we will add your country!

How much would the Premium chest weigh empty?
A Premium Mimic Chest made out of purpleheart wood weighs 3.6 pounds on its own. For comparison, a Basic Mimic Chest, made of high-quality plywood and poplar, weighs 2.3 pounds. Purpleheart is our heaviest, hardest, most dense wood offering.

How do I purchase additional items? I want to get more!
Your account balance here on BackerKit will reflect the amount you pledged in Kickstarter. You can apply that money to anything in our store - if the items add up to more than what you pledged, then BackerKit will ask for payment information and charge you the difference.

Definitely! You should see the option to Switch Your Pledge Level when you sign in. Choose the new level, choose your options, and BackerKit will charge you the difference.

How many minifigures will fit in a Hero Vault?
A standard mini of a standing character should fit two in each Hero Vault. If your mini is carrying a large extended weapon or is a stockier character, you’ll probably want to just have one in there. Of course, if they’re not painted and you don’t mind them wiggling a little, you can remove the pluck foam and fit three or four minis in a Hero Vault.

You can fit four Hero Vaults in the lid of a Mimic Chest or Tankard. Four aren’t necessary, though - even if you only have one, it will hold securely.

How many dice would fit in a pen case?
As long as we’re talking about standard polyhedral dice: 12 D10s 12 D8s 18 D4s 9 D20s 10 D12s The vaults are 1.08 inches deep. Most dice are .9 inches.

How many free dice will I get?
Important: these dice will only come with funds that were raised on Kickstarter. If you pledged the amount for more than one item, please message us and let us know, Add-on items here will not be eligible for the free dice.
All Mimic Chests come with three sets of dice from Tabletop Loot. All Premium Mimic Chests and Tankards come with one set of dice from Critical Hit Collectibles.
If you got a Premium Mimic Chest, then you’d get four sets of dice total. If you got a Premium Tankard, you’d get one set of dice. If you got a Standard Mimic Chest, you’d get three sets of dice.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
